Service Description
Location: The Rice Museum Georgetown, SC When: ricemuseum.org for dates & to make reservations Cost: $60.00 per person (12 and older only) Skill Level: Beginner & Intermediate ** Limit 10 students Participants will learn the basics of indigo dyeing as they create a bandana and a tea towel to take home. Various wrapping & dyeing techniques will be demonstrated. Instructor, Linda Abate, will provide items to be dyed and all other materials necessary to create different designs. Participants may also bring up to 3 cotton personal items to be dyed during the Workshop, in addition to those items provided. Workshop is non-refundable and limited to 10 students Please note this workshop takes place partially outdoors Please wear old clothes and closed-toe shoes Bring your own drinks & snacks if desired Bring long latex or rubber gloves if you have them Weather: Should cancellation become necessary due to inclement weather, participants will be notified, and the workshop will be rescheduled.
