Vida Miller

Vida began taking art lessons at the Greenville Art Museum in the mid-’70’s.  She has since studied with various local artists and participated in a number of workshops with nationally recognized artists.  She is a Member with Excellence of the SC Watercolor Society and has served as Regional Director for the SC Watercolor Society and as a Board Member of the Waccamaw Arts and Craft Guild and the Georgetown Watercolor Society.   She organized the first Spring at Hampton Festival at Hampton Plantation in McClellanvile.  Her work has been exhibited in many local and regional shows and has been purchased by individuals and companies throughout the country.  Vida served on the Georgetown County School Board and conducted classroom workshops on paper making and watercolors.  From 1997-2010 she served in the SC House of Representatives for Georgetown and Charleston Counties.  Vida has owned and operated the GRAY MAN GALLERY in Pawleys Island since 1980.
